How It Works
1. Building Partnership & Onboarding
- Crateful works with the property management teams to schedule delivery windows.
- Residents receive a sign-up link via email, which they use to create their account.
- A dedicated delivery process is established to ensure smooth operations.
2. Resident Ordering Process
- Residents place grocery orders through the Crateful app.
- Orders must be placed the day before the scheduled delivery Window.

Born in Chicago, Crateful was inspired by a simple observation—neighbors in apartment buildings were all sending gig economy drivers to the same location, only for those drivers to return and crowd the very lobbies of their buildings. This inefficiency created unnecessary congestion, security concerns, and operational strain on staff. Crateful was founded to solve this problem by recognizing the shared needs of neighbors and providing a service that supports both residents and the people who keep buildings running smoothly.
